A cool tap room, beer, food trucks and music in Downtown Mocksville. And don’t forget the old fashioned candy, cider, kids playing with toy trucks in the custom rock pit and friends enjoying a crisp, fall afternoon on the outdoor patio—this is what you can expect at The Station on Main.
“We love Mocksville. We love the history and the people and the community, and downtown is such a cool spot. When this opportunity knocked and God opened the door, we walked through. Bryan and I walked into this space and we just knew,” said owners, Bryan and Suzanne Lakey
This unique general store and tap room has given new life to Downtown Mocksville. It has provided a place for residents of all ages to go and have some family friendly fun. Offering live music events, trivia nights, and hosting a variety of food trucks, there’s always something fun going on at The Station.
“I just love the fact that we offer a spot that is family-friendly, non-age specific, and pet-friendly. We have four girls, ages 15 down to 5. Having four girls, we wished we’d had somewhere like this to take them; somewhere that was family-friendly and good clean fun and a quick drive from the house. There just wasn’t anywhere like that in Mocksville which is why we are so excited to bring that sort of vibe here to downtown. We wanted to create a place where mom and dad can get a beer, the kids can eat a sno cone, and we can all enjoy being together.”
What’s on the Schedule at The Station
